HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

hi everone..............we are back on blogger land ! It seems to very cold latley but mum and dad have kept the fire going and we have been keeping it warm!
Today was one of those surprise days...............starting by opening the door and everthing had gone white........mum had kept saying we were going to have a surprise in the morning but wow this was great........

mum then made Sacha do one of those poses as it was a year ago that she arrived in our household ............. time has gone so quickly and sacha has come on leaps and bounds.............including her agility in which we are hoping to start to competing in march, we will keep you all informed on how she gets on.........................

then mum took us on a long walk up to our favorite hill, winn green. not sure why we had to walk there , its so much quicker going in the car............somthing about ice and snow on the ground !!!!????

So in all a pretty exciting day...................so much that we are now fast asleep and have left mum to type up our blog. yeaaa

SACHA THE SUPERSTAR !!!!!

Well folks what do you think.....................my first rosette................a clear round in agility steeplechase jumping (and tunnels)?

Mum entered us in a local show and although both Ellie and I managed to get round all three courses set , it was Sacha that managed a clear round and within the time..........all this with only 9 lessons so far. (Ellies had 18 lessons.......but she is only 19 months old and i'm almost 3 and half)

Mum is so proud of me.

We are now training in a indoor riding school during the winter..............which is great as there is lots of poo to eat !!!!!!!

Whens the next comp mum ?.......... as we get whole sausages instead of little bits, when we do a clear round ???!!!!

NEW FOREST VIZ WHIZ

We had a huge treat today by meeting up with 11 other ginger nuts and have a whale of a time running free across the New Forest.................our old friend Charlie couldnt make it but Radar and Indy came along...........
one of the best things was playing in the stream (we dont have any streams/water near us at home). This is sacha taking the lead with Ellie the 4th one back on the bank.
we had such fun chasing and chasing and chasing each other.........
but we all kept together most of the time. Not sure where the humans got to ?????
but i'm afraid with two and half hours of all that running around, when we got home we just collapsed on Sachas sofa together

OUR BIG STEAMY ADVENTURE !

Well while we were on holiday the humans wanted to take a trip on the north yorks steam railway........my my it was so big and scarey....it hissed and made big loud noises,

but we did sit and wait with dad (everbody that went past loved us!!!)
looking out the window was great but very frustrating as we kept seeing birds and all we wanted to do was to get off and start a chase.
so we had to sit ......for about an hour.........wow we saw so much countryside go past.in the end it was all too much for sacha.....

but at the end we got a great walk ,before getting back on the train and returning back to the van for a big dinner GREAT !

well at last mum has time to let us finally up date our blog.................so much has happened during our wet summer here in the uk, but the main thing that happened to us,was that we went on this big adventure for 10 days in our campervan...............

first we had to decide where to go.........well mum and dad had to decide as we cant drive (yet!!!) we had to sit in the van for hours (almost 6 hrs but we did have a wee wee breaks) so we knew it wasnt our normal walks.......
then when we got there (NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORES) we had to set up camp and do the normal family pose (uggggggg)
Sacha was a little unsure, as she has never done anything like this, so each morning she stuck her head out just to make sure she hadnt moved over night !!!!!
We all had a fab time which we will tell you about in the next few days but we did come back totally exausted...................the only time we managed to get a bit of shut eye during the day was when mum and dad went off on there mountain bikes and we were told to guard the campervan.....well thats what the folks thought but little did they know we slept all the time!!!
(this is dad getting those bikes ready not sure how they ride them that way round!!!)

Sacha has been with us for 8 months now and is definantly one of the family....we really couldnt imangine life without her.....................the last few months have been the most rewarding as we have now all go into a rountine. After a rest in the last few months we have just started Agility training again and have a mini fun comp on Saturday.........we will keep you posted on how do.

I'm feeling on top of the world...........and can't stop running and playing. Sacha is glad i'm back to normal as it's much more fun.
Here i am (if you can see me) in our favorite wood/forest.....

we ran up the hill.....
then back down the hill (watch out mum ......not sure if our brakes are working !)
then we had to pose in the bluebells ......prehaps we should be called the bluebell girls ?

but Ellie decided she needed one on her own...what do you think lads ?

mum and dad have promised me that i won't be having that horrible messy thing they called a season any more

Sometimes life as a Vizsla can be very hard work and we just need time to recharge our batteries. ........ Ellie is just taking time out in the camper van after a very long walk.............

Sacha allways trys to fight off these sleepy feelings but......................

New Forest Viz Whiz

We had a megga treat today by going on a Viz Whiz in the New Forest

There was 14 of us mad gingernuts ranging from 6months to 9 years !

(not sure what the ages of the owners!)

Ellie finally went for a swim but it took almost 10 minutes for her to get in .....

our friend Radar (in the red harness ) had joined us today & was looking fit a well after being very ill eairler in the month. It was great to see him again........

and this was the the final line up with mum and dad in the middle with the hats (the three young pups are missing as they went home early due to the length of the walk.

This is our favorite hill .................its called Win Green and is the highest point in wiltshire....
we can run wherever we like.......when there no sheep on the hill..........mind you we wouldn't be able to see them with this white stuff on the hill ?

SUNDAY MORNING.............WE WOKE UP LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND WOW.......... EVERYTHING HAD GONE WHITE..........
ELLIE WENT OUT TO HAVE A LOOK AND DECIDED SHE SHOULD HAVE PUT HER COAT ON...............IT WAS VERY COLD AND WET
WE DECIDED TO SIT AND HAVE A THINK..
THEN WENT MAD AND RAN AND RAN AND RAN IN OUR TOP GARDEN
THEN WE STOPED TO HAVE A THINK BETWEEN US WHAT TO DO NEXT.....

Ellie starts agility......

Well on Sunday mum sat down to watch this agility thing on tv.......shes been on about it for ages so I watched very carfully to keep mum happy.

Then last night it happened....................mum and I went to this big indoor place that had lots of horse poo on the floor for me to eat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I realised that even though there was loads of other dogs to sniff and play with........there were jumps/tunnels and other things just like on the tv........ummmmmmm.

We had to jump over jumps (mum looked really funny, I just looked really cool), then this tunnel thing we had to go through all on my own....i was very brave and got lots of chicken and cuddles everytime i did what i was asked to do............

mum wasn't allowed to take pictures as it was inside so you will have to imangine me on top of the A frame........it was really high, but again i was brave and did it first time.

Mum was so pleased with me at the end she gave me a whole handfull of chicken...........i was sooooooooooooooooo tired that I slept all the way home it was all to much for me in one go.

I told Sacha all about it when i got home and mum says she will be doing the same thing in a few months time..............so i need to really need to practice every week till then so i can show Sacha what to do !

Mum has brought me a new food bowl as Sacha got one when she arrived 3 weeks ago............but as you can see from the pic......it IS bigger but i really don't think i get given any more food in it..................I think i have be conned.

Mum and Dad took Sacha and me on a mega walk today as a birthday treat it apparently is called Salisbury Plain but we don't care what it is called as it was grass as far as we could see.

Then we found something really interesting in the ground that seemed to tick....

Sacha said I had to take it to mum and see how fast she could run away !!!!!!!

(no animals or humans were hurt in making of this blog!)

As its my birthday today mum has said I can post a few pics from 2007 to get you up to date with my life.

This is my first day home at 7 weeks old

Hi.............We are the ginger nuts from Dorset........

I'm Ellie and mum said that as Sacha has just joined our family we could now have our own blog..........................at long last.

Sacha arrived in our family on the 2nd Feb 08 (when mum and dad choose to re-home her) and after a great viz whiz in the new forest (the hand over point) we crashed out in front of the fire together.....which pleased mum and dad...........and now almost two weeks later we are best of friends........eating, sleeping, running, playing, chasing anything that moves (including leaves !!) and just having 'ginger nut' fun !!!

Anyway its getting late and we are now off to bed, as we have an early start tomorrow.........we go to work with mum who is a gardener and we love helping her in the gardens even though mum dosen't always think we are helping!
